If asked to describe your life in three words, what would you say?
Seeking, eager, knowledgeable.
Compassionate, principled, yearning.
Enthusiastic, imaginable, inspired.
What came to my mind?
My mellow chaos.
What could be more beautiful than living in a mellow chaos? Surrounded by havoc but remaining calm. Feeling the rush of every day events but not letting them taint my outlook.
When this phrase popped into my head, I knew I had to have it.
I've struggled with the idea of making my thoughts public, opening my brain like a brand new novel to be judged and ridiculed by readers. At the end of the day, I am writing for readers but I'm also writing for myself. To reminisce on the days I survived, the feelings I clung to, and the thoughts that shimmied their way through my head. My passions, my setbacks, they are all mine to hold.
My mellow chaos. I wouldn't change a thing.
