In Search of a Last Minute Christmas Gift?

I am pleased to say this is the first, and only, year where I completed my Christmas shopping weeks in advance.

If I'm bragging to an extreme level, I finished my Christmas shopping on December 3rd.

Pretty impressive.

Who do I have to thank for that? Amazon Prime and my pillow top mattress cover.

Almost every single gift I had mapped out was easily located on Amazon Prime within 30 minutes. I even found some of the best gifts for those more "difficult present recipients" by doing a quick search.
For those who are not familiar with Amazon Prime, I highly suggest you familiarize yourself ASAP. With the easy online shopping and two-day shipping, my presents were ordered, delivered, and wrapped within a week's time. For all my mothers and fathers out there, this is key in getting the presents in and wrapped without the kids ever suspecting a thing.

Of course, I did take advantage of shopping local for gifts. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery's Christmas market is a lovely place to sip on some beer and knock out some shopping. This upcoming weekend (December 16th through the 17th) is their final weekend so take a peak at what they have to offer. (I'm currently wearing a scarf I bought from CLT Boutique there and I refuse to take it off because it's that cozy. Check out their Etsy shop here--https://www.etsy.com/shop/CLTBoutique).

If you're looking for clever NC based gear for a loved one, check out We Be Raleigh, based out of Raleigh, NC but don't let the name fool you, they have gifts for all cities in NC. This apparel is comfortable and attention grabbing. I receive numerous compliments every single time I wear my Queen City tank or my First in Flight shirt (Check out their website here--http://www.weberaleigh.com/).

This year, I also decided to search for gifts that are more personable instead of flashy. I'm even more excited to gift some of my presents to others because of how clever they are. Instead of trying to buy large gifts that cost tons of money, I went smaller and more practical. Things people REALLY need, though they don't even know they need it. Practical is often the way to go.

At the end of the day, it's not about the gifts. It's about the people you have surrounding you during the holidays. While I'm very pleased to have kicked butt on my shopping this year, the best part of it all is seeing someone's face light up when they unwrap it.

While you're stressing on finding that PERFECT gift, take a second to pause and think about smaller things. A lot of my gifts are small but they're thoughtful. I took time in thinking of every single person on a personal level when deciding what they may enjoy. I recommend you doing the same. You do not have to spend a lot of money to show someone that you're thankful for them and you were thinking of them when buying a gift.

The best gift you can give someone this year is your appreciation and support. (And maybe an Amazon Prime membership.)
